That is a big number, Saul.

Saturday, Mar. 07, 2009 - 14:24

Catch-uppy type entry, as I've got a couple of mini-entries that I wrote in a wee notebook in my bag on the way to work at times this past week.

Perusing on the different genres of film that could be complimented in the review by using the adjective 'pant wetting'. For instance describing a horror film as 'pant-wettingly' scary works, as does calling a comedy film 'pant wettingly' funny. One could even stretch the scope to include description of erotic films for women as being 'pant wetting' at a push. I can't see the phrase being levelled at other film genres though - unless we consider cartoons aimed at pre-school kids, what with their natural incontinence?

I'm still thinking about factors and whether a number can have a prime number of factors. What about 36 having 7 factors, yes? There must be plrenty of others - 144 has 11 or 13, I thinks.

I've realised this morning that I've kinda 'double booked' myself tomorrow afternoon, with two large things I need to be doing. I'll have to speak to my superiors and see whether they still want me to do this massive trial I am due to do. Or I could get someone else to do one of my other jobs.

Whooha! Regarding my double-bookedness yesterday afternoon, I had an oddly assertive time of it. The Lab Manager very kindly helped me out with one of the big jobs, and I was only a couple of hours late leaving in the end. It was a funny day - I had several of my superiors phoning me and doing favours for me, acknowledging my importance and how busy I am etc. It was a little affirming, like I have some kind of use/clout!

This morning didn't start well.. I overslept and was 2hrs late (not that it was a problem being late, the amount of unpaid overtime I do). It was for a slightly funny reason, in that I think I had gone back to sleep when my alarm went off because I was having a dream about seducing (well, early stage 'chatting up' - I think I was comforting a crying woman, but.. I was going to try and turn the situation to my advantage) one of my colleagues from another site, who I met once when I went to Scotland for that audit I did in January.
