previous - "The Beautiful People" - next Here's some stuff that I wrote on Sunday, before my
computer turned it's self off.
Hi, I'm Chad Trethrerric - and have *WE* got
news for you. You better get your plums out, lonely girls, and get
ready..
I was woken at one this morning, and kept awake
for a good three-quarters of an hour as well, by some pissed up women
and men having a big domestic at the bottom of my next-door neighbour's
driveway. Lot of swearing, some fighting (admittedly it was just a
woman trying to punch a bloke, whilst the two other people there tried
to tear them apart) and shouting about fucked-upness and all that. Not
pleasant.
For the umpteenth weekend in a row, I have done
absolutely fuck all w.r.t. finding somewhere to live closer to work. My
weekend frame of mind is so much more 'baseline' than it shoudl be -
all I do is watch TV and listen to music and do as little as possible
on a 'useful' level.
Why am I delaying finding somewhere to live?
Because I am lazy and lack the self-discipline necessary to start (and
stick with) what I imagine will be a time-consuming and stressful task.
Because there is a part of me that doesn't want to live in the smaller,
more insular town I will be living in (because I am happier being a
no-one in a large city). Because the pitfalls of making such a decision
have the potential to be seriously crappy if I get them wrong. Because
the whole issue of paperwork is a massive stress 'cause I've been
remiss in keeping a lot of my paperwork in order in recent years.
There's not all that much to say about the
cricket really.
Arsenal beat Burnley in their delayed 5th Round
tie this afternoon, a second-string team proving too much for the
Championship side, with Vela, Eduardo and Eboue scoring as the London
side won 3-0 and set up a quarter final at home against Hull City.
In the later game today (a quarter final)
Middlesboro' played well in the first half and went one-nil up a minute
before half time. However, Everton went and fucking scored twice in
five minutes just after half time. Bloody toffee-nosed pissogs winning
2-1 in the end.
LISTENING TO:- 'Valentine' by Delays. Which is
nice. I wonder why I like some of the indie tunes sung by blokes with
falsetto-ish voices (i.e. Puressence, Haven, Delays) sometimes?
..and then it crashed.
