previous - "The Beautiful People" - next My nose being a silly bastard today (in turning into a
curry tap, it feels) has soemwhat affected my mood. I got up and forced
myself to do some 'positive' bits and pieces - namely going to town and
buying a pressie for my God-daughter - but nevertheless have felt somewhat
shitty all day.
Watched a couple of episodes of 'Teachers' while I
ate bread rolls for lunch and dinner. Drank diet cola. Ate a pot noodle
and some little cocktail nibble biscuits. Had a chocolate milkshake while
I was in town. Played some games of Madden on the ol' xbox.
Thinks that have annoyed me this evening include me
having a fucking cold, Rangers being tonked by some Rumanian outfit
(Unirea Urziceni?), David Pleat mispronouncing every player's name (is it
on purpose? is he a bit racist?) and Alan Green being a moaning miserable
twat.
Quite a few goals and quite a few interesting
(perhaps even 'shocking') results in the Chapions League. The away teams
looked more impressive overall - scores in today's matches included:-
Debrecen 3-4 Fiorentina, Liverpool 1-2 Lyon, Barcelona 1-2 Kazan Rubin,
Inter 2-2 Dynamo Kyiv, Rangers 1-4 Unirea Urziceni, Stuttgart 1-3 Sevilla,
AZ Alkmaar 1-1 Arsenal, Olympiacos 2-1 Standard.
Liverpool lose a fourth game in a row due to an
injury time goal, Arsenal concede a similarly late equaliser, and Rangers
were appauling. Disappointing night for the British teams, when all were
ahead at some point.. poor second half performances. Boro beat Derby at
home, and though they stay 4th they are just a point behind the leaders as
Newcastle and West Brom both lost.
So pissed off was I by the day that I had to spend
a good hour reading shit on b3ta when the more sensible thing to do would
be to go to bed early and try and feel more well for the morrow.
Wish me well in my house hunting. I'm wondering how
the fuck I am going to get from property 1 to property 2 (viewing with the
same estate agent geezer) without a car. I think they assumed that I
drove. If the estate agent won't give me a lift, I'll get a taxi. As long
as it isn't Suzy Lamplugh, that is.
